ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Mrs. Hagen and I am so excited to be your 5th Grade ELA teacher this year!
A little about me... I was born and raised in Upsala, MN. I grew up on a dairy farm with my parents and four siblings. I am the second oldest of the five. I am also a very proud aunt to my five- year old niece, Lily. I graduated from Upsala Area School and went on to pursue my love of education and basketball at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. I completed two years of basketball and school there then transferred to Saint Cloud State University where I graduated in May of 2018 with my degree in Elementary Education.
This is my sixth year teaching and I am so excited that it is here at KMS. My first year here, I taught 6th Grade Science/Social Studies. I began my first year of teaching 4th grade in the 2019-2020 school year, then transitioned to 5th grade ELA for the 2023-2024 school year.
My husband, Blake, was a 2012 KMS graduate. We reside near Sunburg with our daughter, Nyla.
I am looking forward to all the fun we will be having this school year.
